    Steam Problem..

    Whenever I try to install ANYTHING on steam, Right before the download it says " The Steam servers are too busy to handle your request, please try again later.." So, I do.. and it does the SAME THING!!! Any help?

    Well if its only you, having the issue, id say try connecting with ethernet instead of wifi (if you do), maybe a faster connection will help, who knows :p

    Yea, if your not wired already try wiring directly. Steam has so many problems, geez. I hate it so much.

    I can honestly say that's never happened to me, and I'm on a cheap DSL connection via WiFi.

    Have you tried reinstalling Steam?

    Try opening up a steam window.......

    File > Settings > "Downloads" tab > Change the download region settings.

    are you on the new ARGHH! beta or the old steam.

    it could be something to do with all the thousands of people having cod mw2 re downloaded by the new beta steam and their servers cant cope.

    That happened to me before, I had to uninstall and reinstall Steam unfortunately. :(

    Are you using any sort of restrictive firewall or some sort of IP blocking service (peerblocker, peerguardian, etc...)? When I have peerblocker I have the same problem.
