Ok so I start up steam yesterday to play some EP1 (beat it in 3 hours start 2 finish) and I see all these Pop Cap games completly spamming my games console. This made me a bit angry, because now there are like 15-20 demos hogging up the console. So my question is, is there any way to edit whats on and off the console? I tried looking for a while and couldnt find anything.

I opened up steam last night and all of that stuff had disappeared.

I just loaded up steam, and I see a Update/News window advertising popcap games.
The same notice/ad also appears in the Browse Games list in the main STEAM window.

It would appear that Popcap is going to use Steam as a distribution method for their little games. They (popcap) are and always have been horribly overpriced, and I would never buy them. But if popcap wants to pay Valve for a distribution method, more power to Valve.

    Nothing sinister going on.

Ok yeah I just went on steam and they were all gone, along with some of the other demos that were there for a while. Its ok now, but 2 days ago there were about 20 games that it was advertising. I guess this one fixed its self, thanks for the answers though.

I had the same experience - the stuff showed up one day, and was gone the next.
