think I'll stock for the new laptops coming out in July.
-
Mount and Blade: Warband
STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order
STAR WARS Battlefront II: Celebration Edition (got it free on Epic, want it on steam)
Battlefield 4 Premium Edition
well that's for starters -

I may pick up Death Stranding. FarCry 5 is tempting at 85% off, but I really don't want to deal with 98 layers of DRM.

Death Stranding is very much worth checking out. It's nothing like any other game out there. The atmosphere is amazing.

I was thinking about getting Death Stranding but I think it's going to be free with the new MSI QHD laptops coming out next month, which I will be buying.

After seeing some Death Stranding gameplay, I decided it's not really for me. If I want to experience the story, I'll just watch a let's play.
It's more expensive on UPlay - by only a couple dollars, yes, but since I just dropped serious cash on a 3080 Ti, I'd like to claw some back wherever I can. -

First world PC gamers - buy a GPU for more than a grand, but save every penny on games
Thinking about getting Halo MCC, but not sure I want to buy it from Steam. Maybe wait for the next sale on MS Store.Atma likes this. -

How do you think I can afford to buy a GPU?
-
killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
So far so good, just bought Portal 1 and 2 for a friend as a gift and that's about it.
Seems like every sale I buy less and less games.
Makes sense.Atma, JRE84 and saturnotaku like this. -
I almost bought MK11 but meh never really played X much wasn't exactly fun but those graphics...I guess like you mentioned all games typically look good nowadays and it's pointless buying games soley on looks....sigh heres to fallout/GTA/and ES

Strange question without giving any specifics i.e. what genre do you like, what games did you play which you enjoyed. -
To many, i am an old gamer. so fps, rts, rpg, adventure anything of interest
. Problem is i dont have any more time for games, so i only play an hour or so at most.

Halo Master Chief Collection is fun to play in short bursts.
-
Yeah i was thinking about that aswell, played the first 2 at that time on windows. Thx for the info, think ill buy it

So you probably need something short.
FPS - I'm really enjoying replaying F.E.A.R. at the moment. F.E.A.R. 2 isn't as good, but it's still okay. If you like old school shooters check out Ion Fury as well.
RTS - nothing beats the old classic - Age Of Empires II DE. You probably played it, but it still holds up to this day and the remaster is amazing. C&C Remastered Collection also looks good, haven't bought this one yet though. Hope they will do RA2 in the future.
RPG - there are not a lot of short RPGs. Out of recent I really liked Greedfall (a bit jancky, but still rather good), The Outer Worlds and Tyranny.Atma likes this. -
A yes, played all fear and ages of course
.
Greedfall looks interesting, im still playing W3 haha, maybe ill finish it till end of year. Outer Worlds is on my list aswell, but ill buy it after i finish w3, maybe until then is cheaper aswell.
So is Greedfall worth it, you say? -
killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
I liked it. It has branching quests a la Pillars or Divinity Origina Sin games. Also a bit unusual setting - based on XVIII century with added fantasy elements, which was kinda refreshing.
But I would suggest you watch some early gameplay videos, because like I've already mentioned it can be a bit janky, and for some it might be a turnoff.
W3 I suppose means The Witcher 3. Hope you bought a complete edition with expansions, because HoS was amazing.hfm likes this. -
Yes the Witcher 3, got the complete edition. I am kinda of a completionist, thats why its taking me so much time to finish a game, and now because of family, work and that stuff got no time anymore for so long rpgs with so much stuff to find

Greedfall, The Outer World and Tyranny should be up your alley then. They should be around 50h to beat.
Compared to TW3, which took me hundreds of hours to beat, this is very doable.Cylix101 likes this. -
Metro Exodus and Exodus Enhanced are still available at a huge discount on Steam for about 3 more hours for those that don't already have it.

I have it on Epic already, but buying it on Steam merely to consolidate. I have no problem with Epic, but I prefer limiting the number of game client bloatware whenever possible.JRE84 and saturnotaku like this. -
just got paid and was going to buy a few games and bam the sales over lol this sucks my luck i t ell ya./
but on a happy note i have like 50 aaa games i have yet to play and well thats some serious time.Mr. Fox likes this. -
Darn. I am sorry you missed it. For some reason the Steam version self-minimizes and won't launch. I am going to have to figure out why and how to fix it. Got the "Gold" version with all DLC for under $17 USD.

Hey bro, Metro Exodus is no longer still on sale through Steam at a great price, but you can still get it for dirt cheap. Here is a link: https://deals.razer.com/games/metro...ations&utm_source=RazerDeals&utm_medium=email

I actually did not buy one game from the Steam sale (I did buy Total War Warhammer II a little before the sale..). I got really close to breaking down and getting Horizon Zero Dawn, but I'm making my way through AC:Origins and I own AC: Odyssey I may do that next instead of wasting more money on adding things to my already impossible backlog.
I have to say this is the #1 good thing about playing pretty much 100% SP games, you kind of don't need to buy them at launch unless you are just super passionate about the game. -
Totally. It is VERY unusual that I spend $20 on a AAA title. Usually less than that. I try to keep my game purchases to around $10-15 as often as possible, and that is generally pretty easy because it is really rare for me to feel compelled to buy a game that is a new release. I might even be really stoked about it, but not enough to pay launch price in most cases. Plus, they've usually received bug fixes and often work better after they age a year or two, or three.

Only grabbed Portal 1 and 2 as a gift for my friend.
There were a couple of other I was eyeballing, but one I dropped after giving it a go on Xbox Game Pass trial, the other I will get once my backlog gets a bit smaller.Mr. Fox likes this.
