    Steam changing compatability on me?

    So I tried to log into Steam this morning and an error pops up looking like this:

    As you can see, compatability has no option to change. How do i fix this??? I already looked at steam support and they only say "Please do not run steam in compatibility mode" which i didn't. It worked fine yesterday, now it doesn't work. ugh.

    You could try pressing cancel to override the warning dialog and waiting to see if any problems pop up. If there aren't, you don't need to do anything.

    It's possible that you cannot change the program's compatibility settings because the same program is currently running.

    I did. It works fine. I wonder why it's set to compatibility with vista though. I'm running windows 7.
