    Hey all,

    About to get Teamfortress 2 on sale as a gift through steam. He is about to make his account, how and what info do I need to send the gift to him?

    If he has already made his account, you just need to friend him on Steam using either the account name or the email he used on the account. Then, at checkout, when you choose "buy as gift" you can choose his name from a list of your Steam friends.

    If he doesn't have his account set up yet, you can just sent the game to his email address, Steam will give him instructions on how to set up a steam account and claim his gift game.

    I just bought TF2 last night from steam too. Just got a chance to play it a couple hours ago for the first time and love it. $10.00 well spent.
