    Steam help PLEASE!!

    I just opened my new M11x, which has Steam preloaded on it. When I launched Steam for the first time, I logged in, entered the passcode necessary for accessing on a new device, and then Steam proceded to load. However, it got stuck on "Preparing list of Steam games" and has now been stuck in that stage of loading for an hour or so. I tried closing and re-opening Steam a couple times to no avail, plus I know that it isn't frozen as the client is completely responsive. What's wrong? And is it my computer or Steam?

    for now uninstall steam and install it again.
