This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Steam not loading?

    I seem to be having some trouble with getting Steam to work. After I install and start it up all I see is a white screen where the display should be. I've tried reinstalling with three different connection speeds (the middle three) selected, but always get the same result. I kind of doubt my connection speed is either the highest or lowest, but I suppose I could try... or could something else be causing this problem?

    Edit: Hmm. Well after the fourth installation it decided to work. I guess it was a matter of luck.
