OMG. Steam finally updated their UI to scale to 4K nicely. SOOOO PURRTTYYYYY...
Anyone else notice this?

but it's **** in 1080p using 125% scaling because they ****ed up somewhere in the process. The UI is all big and blurry sadly.

Yes, because UI scale was the biggest issue Steam had...

This crap! No matter what I do it looks like hell even when disabling DPI scaling. -
That's exactly what I've been reading, a lot of people complaining that now on 1080p everything looks obnoxiously big. I mean, kudos to valve for thinking about the 4k crowd but it's exactly like them to **** up even something so simple. Not that I'm particularly surprised, given the state the store is in, but still.

This update also broke the progress bar that appears if you minimize the window to the taskbar while downloading a game.

They have released a new update on the stable channel (beta received the fix on Saturday) with an option to toggle the retarded DPI check for those users like us who like it small

Great news, been waiting for this forever, not sure why it took so long lol. Also, aren't they also working on a UI overhaul?
-
Yes they are, since 2014, and as you can see it is going superb......
-
The download progress bar is still broken though..

I posted about this issue in the Steam community. Maybe it will gain some traction there. -

Anecdotal, but it also seems like it looks nicer in 1440p.
