I've been running crysis for a while now with medium-high settings in dx9 mode, but all of a sudden it just lags horribly in singleplayer no matter what settings I use. Multiplayer is better, but it still lags badly whenever there's a lot of action.

It lags THE SAME on all low settings at 800x600 or at medium-high at 1280x800. Singleplayer is almost unplayable, and multiplayer is okay but I still find myself getting killed by lag fairly often even when the ping is very low (I get an amazing connection here).

I've tried restarting, checking background programs, making sure it's running in dx9 mode, etc, but nothing has changed that I can see since the time it was running smoothly on medium-high. Other games like FEAR and CoD4 have not had any problems either.
