Strange problem with Raven Sheield

I have a VERY strange problem with my Rainbow Six Raven Shield, which is a shame since its the second best RS ever.

but to the point. i installed the game on my new computer an AMD Athlon 64 dual core processor 6000+ 2048 DD2 RAM Geforce 8600 GT

At first i had this stutterng bug as shown here on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QotPWJQHutU

I tried change the game settings and patched it. Nothing worked.

Then i updated to the latest Nvidia drivers and now the game wont start. It gets past the UBI logo in the startup but i stops at the Red storm logo. Both these logos sort of flicker in a weird way too. Screen des fade to black a little but you can still see the logo there, so i cant get to the game menu

I have reinstalled it serveral times, installed the old drivers, tried the game pathcesd and unpatched but i just cant get past the Red Storm logo.

Ive had some minor issues with unreal based games before biut nothing i couldnt fix.

Is there anyway to make so that the logos dont appear?

i really need help with this one.

Thanks alot! That will help alot when i getting the game to get past the logos.

Now i even bought the game hoping an original copy might do it. But no go. Gonna update the drivers, do that change to the ini file. and hopefully it will start

 

I also had the blinking logo problem. I couldn't recall what excatly I did to get past that logo blinking problem and got game running smoothly. But once I'm back from work I'll update my findings here

EDIT: Turn off threaded optimiztion in Nvidia control panel > 3D settings > Manage 3D settings. That works for me to get past logo.
