Ok, I use a computer ( laptop) with a quad core i7 at 1.73 ghz, an ati radeon hd 5730 and 4gb of ram at 1333mhz and with a resolution of 1366x768 ( 17 inches) and I try to do some streaming of league of legends, but it's really lagging ( with lol settings on med) if I wanna be sure it won't have any lag without buying a new computer, did I need more ram or something?

Ram won't affect this, chances are there is a bottleneck with your internet connection preferably you should use ethernet, the other thing you can do is record your gameplay using something like Fraps or LoL Recorder and just upload that since it will give you less lag.

Just a suggestion but use LoL Recorder ingame and then record the replay it generates using Fraps and upload that to Youtube or etc.

what are you actually using as program? if your using xsplit i can help. First you gotta put the game in windowed mode, and get a program called shiftwindow. Set the settings for xsplit to match your quality. I run a stream on 720p and it looks fine, I myself think the game is okay a little glitchy but my system is an i5 etc.. check sig. second thing is I put no shadows and put quality on effects to very low i barely see a difference to focus on farming. Second i put character level on high you put it less than that its gonna look terrible, enviroment quality on medium to high not big difference and i lay with 35-40fps drops to 25fps in team fights.
