I went to my local Fry's E the other day and noticed the SF4 PC version was a Limited edition that included some bonus features including an anime movie.

Has anyone picked up this version? What else does it contain? There is both a normal and limited edition PC version. Both for only $36.99.

Silly me I should've picked it up for that price. I'll be making a return visit tomorrow for it.

Umm not sure, the normal game has animated movies in it. I was under the impression the only special edition is the one that comes bundled with the fightpad.

I think I should do a review of the game now :p

Is it any good? I've been thinking of getting it, although I lost interest in 2D fighting games many years ago (still enjoy the occasional Super Smash Bros, though).

Street Fighter 4 is a very refined fighting game experience. Its superbly balanced and wonderful animated, but it's undeniably old school. It is nowhere near the low brow fun of super smash, tekken, or soulcalibur. By comparison, moves are harder to execute, character designs are tame, and game play is noticeably slower.

When I played this game with most of my casual friends it was yawn inducing since most of them had no experience with fighting games (literally did not no how to throw a fireball). However, if you put in the time it is extremely deep and satisfying.

Well said, this game is actually more deep than most fighters despite the fact you may only have 3 or so special moves and its much more balanced, though some characters are easier to use than others.

The challenge to go from just a novice player to a master can be gigantic because of the skill involved in timing moves and link combo's and things.

So this game brings out real competitive fighting masters rather than the button mashers.

I am a big fan of button masher games though but this game really gets me going when I play against a good player online.

If anyone is seriously interested in the game, I've found that this website is a wonderful resource for both beginners and hardcore players.
