I don't want to guarantee that but I would think you'd be close. "Max settings" can go way beyond recommended specs in a lot of games but considering how crazy SF IV performance was, I wouldn't be too concerned. Its a fighting game after all - last thing you want is to get your lights knocked out because you lagged.

EDIT: Yeah I just looked at the gameplay videos... It honestly looks like they just tweaked the engine they used on IV... not that it would be such a bad thing but the graphics don't look much better and just for kicks I set my 980Ms at 270MHz (!) in the IV benchmark...

Ultra SF 4 runs really great. I'm just worried about Unreal Engine 4. Hopefully it runs really fast on 970m.

    UE4 runs great on the PS4, I wouldn't worry about the 970M.

SLI support in UE4 is still iffy, although it seems to be working in Vanishing of Ethan Carter Redux with some SLI bits, as long as you disable any temporal AA.

They should offer a benchmark like SF4.

I'm very much interested in this because this is the major reason I'm thinking about getting a gaming laptop (I go to fighting game events periodically and I'd love to have an all-in-one Street Fighter V setup).

I've been looking at laptops that run a 965M for this purpose. Am I in the ballpark?

I hope you are, friend. There are good laptops that have that card.

From what I heard, UE4 can use SLI just fine, as long as the dev doesn't use any of the features that requires the previous-frame data. The problem is that's a lot of the good looking stuff that makes UE4... UE4.

i played the beta on my 765m OC and i got 35-40fps on max so its well optimized for the current development.I really expect to get above 40fps when its finished with proper driver support. So everying above 760M should max this above 30fps on 1080p

I suggest taking redditors (and people online talking about "max graphics" in general) with a grain of salt. There are a RIDICULOUS amount of people who will throw "max graphics!" around like it's going out of style and they aren't using AA or have 5 settings turned down... there's been MULTIPLE PEOPLE who have told me they "don't consider" hairworks to be part of max graphics in Witcher 3, so saying they're on "max" means "hairworks is off".

The amount of people I feel true eternal sadness at the fact that I cannot physically slap them until their obviously defective brain starts working properly is astounding.

To be fair, I would never consider "hairworks" to be part of max settings. Really need to indicate max details, AA level, and Crapworks on or off. AA can vary so much too,

As far as I can see, if a visual setting is in the game and it isn't subjective like Motion Blur or Chromatic Abberation, I'd say max should include it. If it's intention is to bring about a better visual experience, then max includes it. If I ever leave some setting like that off (like Depth of Field in MGSV GZ) I say so. Like "Max graphics, no ubersampling - Witcher 2".

Max graphics is just too generic of a term. Screenshot or brief description of the settings is all that's needed.

Update. I finally played the beta on my 970M and I was able to max this game out 1080p. Smooth 60fps no drops. Happy about this.
