Structure Gaming

Hey Guys,

Just thought I would share the website that I'm currently writing for with you guys. We launched in December and have been working really hard to get things in smoothing working order, which is why my posting has been rather minimal over here as of late.

We're trying to cover all aspects of gaming including mobile, console, PC and potentially CCGs as well. I mainly do PC gaming articles with a heavy focus on Indie games. Anyways, was hoping if any of you had the free time to check it out. We're usually doing some type of contest/giveaway and appreciate any type of feed back:

Not to be an arsehole or anything but that logo looks awful.

Hard to read because of the outer glow on it. Simple font would be nicer.

EDIT: the flash article links at the top don't work either, just redirect back to the homepage.

 

I agree that the logo needs a brush up.

I enjoy reading about indie games though, so I bookmarked this

Well keep checking for updates then because most of my articles will cover Indie game development. Currently I've got about 3 indie previews in the works right now, should be posted in a day or so.

I'll also be supplementing with major PC exclusive releases and the occassional retro review. Thanks for the input guys, we've got a really dedicated team and things should only get better from here.

"I Shall Remain" is coming along quite nicely. Currently there's only the Prologue that's released, but another much longer chapter should be out shortly. I've also got an exclusive interview with the Dev team later this week.

 

I've tried to access the website between yesterday and today, but it seems the site is down.

 

The site's definitely not down (hasn't been since the SOPA blackout). What browser do you use? I've heard some people have issues using google chrome.

 

The site does look a little different loaded in Chrome than IE9 but nothing too bad.
Guess its something to do with how the browser displays the webpage layout or something.

 

Both Firefox and Chrome.

I LOVE retro games and retro reviews!! I used to do some retro gaming reviews for an abandonware forum I was on (years ago, when I used to have some spare time ). Even now, sometimes I search for some reviews on old games and read my old gaming magazines just for nostalgia.

 

My boss has taken into consideration some of the things you guys have said. The technical issues have been addressed and sent to our programmer, so hopefully those will be fixed shortly.

Also since a number of people have found our logo not quite aesthetically pleasing we're looking to revamp it. I know that some of you have quite an extensive experience at doing banners and avatars so if anyone is interested in helping redesign our main logo we would really appreciate it. Shoot me a pm with your email address and I can send some further guidelines.

 

Just finished a review on SOL: Exodus. I'd have to say it's a must buy for any space shooter fans consider it's only $10 on steam right now.

 

top of the site looks really empty its hard to understand whats going on and whats it all about.
