    Is it possible to upgrade the 5650 in the Dell Studio 1749 to something better?

    u cannot do so.. to have an upgradeable GPU, u must have

    1. An alienware notebook like M15x or M17x
    2. A clevo/Sager notebook with NP8690 or NP8760..

    Those 2 are basically the ones with upgradeable GPU.. NP8690 will be cheapest...
