I have the Sager 5793 with an 8800GTX and Vista-64. When certain video clips play - using Nero or even other media players, I sometimes get bad stuttering. This can be any video found on the internet, on a web page...or one that must be downloaded from e-mail etc...Can someone offer a suggestion on what I could do to remedy this? Thanks !

Try to install a good codec pack, K-Lite is good

    go to www.free-codecs.com

And I use Media Player Classic... its simple, yet powerful. :)

I'm gonna go with this. Alternatively, you could run a spyware scanner. There may be a possibility that you picked up some nasty spyware somewhere. This happened to me and it pretty much used one of my cores at 100% making everything very sluggish.
