    hi gys..i bought the 8600GT card few days bak..bt i m not sure which game should i try..basically i like the 3rd person shooters and racing games like max payne & most wanted..dont like the 1st person shooters..

    any suggestion..?

    Another popular racing game making the forum rounds is GRID. Gears of War isn't the best optimised console port out there so buyer beware.

    Another porely optimized, but fun if your computer can run it game is stranglehold, which is alot like max paine.

    The demo performed well on my system. I need a racer and there is nothing else there for me so I'll just get the darn thing!

    Agreed with Splinter Cell: Double Agent, albeit the ending was rather easy. The level design is awesome, as is the gameplay. Seriously, check it out.

    And unlike others games where it is easy to shoot and kill people, SC: DA actually makes you think. Kind of emotional really.

    LOL, all this time I thought you were referring to Grid when you referring to SC: DA. SC actually ran smoothly for me. As for Grid, I did try the demo, and finally decided to get it. Now I need my next paycheck to make this happen. :eek:

    Nobodies mentioned Assassin's Creed. Great looking 3rd person action/adventure game.

    I don't know for a fact but I assume it would run well on a 8600.

    I'm playing company of heroes rightnow. Lovin it. Its a pretty cool game (prefer it over world in conflict)

    If you are into adventure games you probably should give dreamfall a try.

    The orange box is pretty much a must have for anyone. Not only because the games are awesome, but also because its just a great deal and the games scale well for older systems. Almost cant go wrong unless you are not into FPS's.
