Hello, I just got my new laptop and wanna try some good graphic rpg games!
I play WoW but im really getting bored of it lol.
I want the game to have good graphics (like Oblivion)
I tried playing Oblivion but it just didnt catch my attention, the leveling system and skills are just, IDK wierd...
Game has to use WASD not only clicking!
I enjoyed the first Sacred series but sacred 2 didnt catch my eyes..
It has to be medieval and maybe fantasy based (like LOTR)
    Good graphics
    Looong game
It will have more points if it includes multiplayer mode!
    Thanks in advance

KOTOR 1 and 2 (try finding the restoration mod for the 2).
    Jade Empire
    Mass Effect
    Dragon Age

Those are out of immediate ones that I personally enjoyed (DA I haven't had time try yet though) and that I'd recommend due to engaging story and the gameplay combining numerous aspects.

If you want something older in terms of RPG ... Neverwinter Nights would be good to try along with Planescape Torment?
Diablo 1 and 2 also come to mind.

Check out Guild Wars. It's a bit aged, but still quite pretty in terms of graphics.

    gw is mmorpg not rpg
also some old school rpgs are oblivion, people say its very good but i didnt like it at all, the gameplay is interesting but it basiclly has no storyline, just a 3 hour long main quest, and then its u in a huge world walking arround and doing some random quests from different towns, its like ur playing a mmorpg game and you're completely solo
also kotor (yes about star wars), is an epic rpg, belive me, you WILL enjoy it
if you would be also intested in some action-like rpgs (well not quite an rpg), you could try tomb raider series, youtube it and im sure you wont be disapointed

about risen, its made by piranha bytes, the group who made gothic 3, great game but absolutely a bug fest, i couldnt play it longer then 30 minutes
also, it looks like the type of game in wich you just spam the mouse button and all mobs arround fall in a few seconds

KOTOR is Star Wars, yes ... but the game in question IS an RPG (out of the SW franchise, I have to say that KOTOR 1 and 2 are the only games that grabbed my attention, along with the upcoming MMORPG 'TOR' ... but I doubt I'll actually play 'TOR' because of the monthly payments involved in the 'MMO scheme').

KOTOR is a third person RPG similar to Mass Effect (though Mass Effect is more advanced because it features better graphics and actual voices from the main character of your choosing - result of a simple technological advancement).

Torchlight wouldn't work for the OP since it's a Diablo-clone. A great one, mind you, just not for the OP.

Totally agree. Any game that punishes you for picking major skills you actually want to use is crippled. However, I've heard great things about the OOO and other mods that can change that system into something more... normal.

Also, +1 for KOTOR. If you play RPG's for the story, it is one of the (if not the) best ever.

Dungeon Siege II and Titan Quest with the expansion Immortal throne. They are very Diablo-esque, but Dungeon Siege is party oriented where Titan Quest is solo with an online component like Diablo. Both are excellent games.

I agree with all the suggestions given, especially with KOTOR and Dragon Age. I did chuckle at the description of Oblivion as "Old school" in post #15 though, Ultima and Dungeon Keeper were old school, Oblivion most definitely new school!

Another +1 for Dragon Age Origins.

Fantastic game, and if you dig the history and lore of RPG's then this one will NOT disappoint. Oh yea and the gameplay is fantastic :)

The Witcher was a great game, and it shouldnt be very expensive nowadays.

Dragon Age is also a great game. Either of these would be great choices.
