    Hi guys.

I'm a big fan of the whole Hitman series and i've been looking for a similar type of game. Already finished all of the Hitman episodes more than once so really need something new.
I also liked Splinter Cell btw and Metal Gear Solid but i find it hard too find similar games...any ideas?

The only other option I know are the Thief series. The are strongly stealth based since you are a very good thief, but not a very good fighter/assasin (like in Hitman/Splinter Cell/MGS series). Other than this series I also would like to know if there are any other options.

Velvet Assassin is a good stealth game, too, but its difficulty standard is hard, as in, you can only take a very small amount of damage without dieing, and the engine is not optimized at all (drivers, perhaps?), I get 40 FPS steady on the laptop in my sig at 1920x1200 All Settings Maxed.

It has a nice story backing it up.

I'll look into velvet assasin...40fps would be more than enough but i probably won't even get that much. I often run games on a lower res on my external monitor anyway, without scaling.

I know thief but i do kinda like the assasin element in the other games ;)

Would Assassin's Creed fit into this? Or not. I have not played it before.

Not really a hitman type of game but Rainbow six and ghost recon involves assasinations

Lol...it's not that i just want assasinations ;) I don't know too much about those games but i like the sneaking around without being spotted and getting to the end of a mission without being spotted...planning a hit is just a big bonus ;)

Hitman and Thief are both great stealth-based game. I enjoyed playing both. Thief is even more stealth demanding, I had the patience only to finish the first level in Thief Gold so far  It is difficult to find similar games, but maybe you should look at the Commando series. It is also stealth demanding, but the graphics is quite different and 2D like. Another one is Hidden and Dangerous, a commando operation sort of game, but quite good.

I'm a big fan of the Hitman Series. Splinter Cell comes to mind if you're looking for a similar experience. Perhaps

The Chronicles of Riddick series (I haven't played it).

Yay!, this thread has lots of good suggestions for Stealth Games.

Velvet can be quite hard sometimes, gotta hate those Shotgun Grunts!
