The game is now available for preorder on steam. I know there are very few SF fans on this forum but if anyone wants to do a 4 pack split please post. It comes to about $30 each which is 10 dollars less than the preorder.

    :)

Oh wow, didn't think they would release SSFIV after so long. Definitely getting it at some point given that I've chalked up 181 hours in SFIV, but I see this going on sale within a month or so of it's release so I'll just wait until then.

I'll probably get it but cant put $30 into it, just not worth it to me when its just the first game with a few addons, esp after such a late release they really should be selling it as a bargain game.

I hope it fixes the many shortcomings that the first PC release had.

It seems they fixed the 2 player keyboard issue. I was looking through the screens on steam and came across this:

Thats good, at the very least people using ipac like keyboard encoders for there DIY arcades can play the game in 2 player now.

I have some stand alone joysticks that work with PC as HID devices now and can use a 360 controller emulator to fool the computer into thinking its a 360 controller, this is what I had to do with the first game.

But with keyboard support I can use the 2 person stick I built.

It uses a IPAC-VE keyboard encoder so all the buttons and the joystick directions look like keyboard keys to the computer.

Yeah I have messed around with it. Since I never played the series though I had no clue what I was doing so didnt stick with it.

Maybe if I had somebody to play in person I would play it more but vs the CPU was not much fun for me.

I quite like Tatsunoko vs Capcom on my Wii as well.

I have not tried the new MvC3 it does not look right to me but MvC2 was by far the fighter I used to play the most.

Id like to see a new Killer Instinct I liked that game series a lot, and I would like to see Mortal Kombat some how return to its roots like UMK3 days.

I played Guilty Gear and the art style is similar to Blaz Blue and was thinking of getting it on pc. Also, did you know you can play against xbox360 users in blazblue?

Tats vs Cap is a fun game and MvC3 does not have the same feel of MvC2 for some reason. Im not looking forward to a new killer instinct, but the new mortal kombat is really fun though.

I actually want MvC3 on PC more than this game tbh. That game is so much fun. I was considering getting a ps3 just to play it.
