    Hi to all,

I'm new in this forum and i've been searching for answer for the above but in vain.

I would like to know if it's possible to play Supreme Commander on the dell Inspiron 1525. Actually i'm having "Does not meet requirement" error when starting the game.

The Inspiron is a Dual 2 core 2.0Ghz
    2 GB Ram
    120 HDD
Intel x3100 with max 384mb(actually using the latest driver from Intel)

If there is any patch or settings to get the game playing, please let me know. I'm desperate to play the game.

    Thx

    Thierry

No you can't. Don't expect anything much from a GMA x3100 Intel. sorry to point out but you made a wrong choice buying this laptop.

Try the test here. http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest It will at least tell you where the problem lies. It is most likely to be your graphics card though. Even if you do manage to get it running you will have to use the lowest possible settings for the graphics to get any sort of frames per second.

No chance, even if the X3100 passes the minimum shader 2.0 compliance requirement I don't expect the game to anywhere near playable with all settings lowered.

I remember when my old acer with an x1600 would struggle with the game. Atleast you have the right processor speed, which would help with late game framerates... :p
