I just installed Swat 4 and it looks good but every 10 sec or so it lags for a 1 to 1.5 sec I could deal with it but it is annoying at times!!!! And it doesn't lag because of the anount of action that is going on. Does anyone have Swat 4 running smooth and if so what are your settings?

I think you are having a RAM issue. How much do you have installed? I recommend having 1GB for games.

Also, make sure that no instant-messenger programs are running in the background, or any other application that accesses the Internet periodically.

Also be sure to shut off or temporarily disable your anti-spyware (not anti-virus, those are normally A-OK) software from running in the background. ;)

After reviewing the situation I realized that my drive light flasheswhen the lag happens. Is there a big difference between 5400 rpm and 7200 rpm? I have a 5400 rpm and if there is a BIG difference between the two I might have to make that investment.
