Please excuse me I'm a noob at this stuff.
I just got the Asus notebook model: U56E-BBL5 with a Intel i5 processor and a UMA graphics card.

I was wondering if it is possible for me to somehow switch videocard on this laptop?

    Thanks in advance.

Can add an NVidia eGPU via a accessible mPCIe slot or using an expresscard slot to radically improve your graphics performance, even using the internal LCD to render the final image. See http://forum.notebookreview.com/gam...ards/418851-egpu-experiences.html#post5324240 .
