So, I finally got my Sony SR, and absolutely love it, with one exception.

In most games, the scrolling on the touchpad does not work - how can I fix this?

You use touchpad to play games!?
OMG! I mean how did you play games(Left 4 Dead, Assassin Creed, CoD4, Prototype, Warcraft III-Dota) with it?
    Sounds impossible.

It's pretty easy, when I'm using my portable I don't want to bust out a mouse.

I agree. I've gotten used to playing all kinds of games (even FPS's) on an touchpad. it's pretty easy when you get used to it. The downside is that usually the scrolling feature doesnt work on most games since it's software driven. I also have a Synaptics touch pad.

Yea its not bad I played Assassins creed with on my notebook using a touchpad (was a bit of a pain at first though). As for the OP question, some games just wont support it as far as can tell.

You can buy some pretty small mice now. Try them out....noone should have to play games with a touchpad.

I am having a problem simillar to this with Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, because in order to issue command and switch weapons, you need a scroll wheel. Medal of Honor uses this and the scroll wheel works fine, as does it in the sims 2, but GRAW it wont do anything. Is there a software maybe that would let me set the arrows as hot keys to use as a scroll wheel maybe?

Edit- I googled it and the top result was a thread on playing GRAW on a laptop and people from this forum made it through the demo on it so they found some type of solution. I have to know what it is lol.

Any updates? There has to be some way to fix the scrolling. And, I have a desktop with a mouse, my laptop sits on my lap. Mousing is best, but the touchpad can be suprisingly enjoyable.
