Well, I noticed a few people mention on this forum that they have played (or at least heard about)System Shock 2. One of the best games out there, even if its several years old. When the story line is that awesome, and the game play that much fun, who needs cutting edge graphics. Anyway, it seems that it is a difficult game to get working on newer machines. Well, I have tried all of the normal fixes, and many of "less normal" fixes and nothing seems to work. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas or tricks for getting this working. I have tried everything on here: http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69958
Some of it helped, but nothing has made it so I can play. It just stops working at random times (black screen or looping sound crash, it varries). Like I said, if anyone has any other tips or tricks that would be helpful. Hey, and any other thoughts on the game are welcome too, it is a great game.

Hmmm, I found out that several people still play it multiplayer over this program called Hamachi (it tricks your computer into thinking your on a local network with other computers over the internet). Ha, that was some insentive for me to get it working again, but alas, my new machine has prevented me from doing so.
