Hi guys, I googled and binged this and I couldn't find anything that really is directly helpful. It seems like all the guides say is "Download and install this file, it's somewhere on the internet blah blah blah" and they don't help at all.

I want to run System Shock 2 on Windows 7 64-bit. It is supposed to run only on DOS based operating systems, 32-bit operating systems, and single core processor systems.

So how do I go about doing this.

    well.

is your win7 64-bit professional or higher?

you could try installing windows xp mode (hope your processor is VT) and running it from a virtual XP.

also to get system shock 2 to work on XP-2000 there's this fix you need to install (along with a custom executable).

the executable requires the cd still (at least it says it does in the readme, I haven't tried it yet. put it off forever and a half.

System Shock 2 WinXP/2000 Fix download - Mod DB

also in that moddb page in the comments there is apparently is a rapidshare download to a guide to get it to work on newer graphics card. you could this too: http://rapidshare.com/files/12616233/How_to_run_System_Shock_2.zip.html

looking in that rapidshare though there are no cd cracks and it instructs you to download the game iso whelp.

didn't realize that. looks like in the guide though, they tell you to use something called ddfix to make the game run at direct x 6 levels, etc.
