Hi. I apologize if this was asked before.

I've just installed ss2 on my laptop (specs in sig), patched it up and it runs fine, except for when I try to save. Sometimes it works, but it usually crashes. After it crashes, all saves seem corrupted, since it does the same if I try to load any of them.

Setting it to compatibility mode (win98) only makes the problem worse: the menus run fine, but when I try to start a game it just locks up.

    I'm running Win7 X86. Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.
