Hi, I own a T41 (2373JU9). It has a ATI MR 9000 - 32mb, and I'm wondering if it is good enough to play games like UT2004 and Thief 3. Thanks!

I don't have a notebook yet but my general knowledge of computers should safice. Theif 3, no. It requires at least a 64MB graphics card. However, UT2K4 should run just fine. If you can't run it smoothly with Hardware graphics acceleration it does have a software renderer so you don't need to use graphics acceleration. The recommended hardware acceleration for it is at least 64 MB video card and I will warn you the software renderer is uglier then sin, but it'll work. You might want to get the UT2K4 demo first to see if it'll run harware on your laptop and if not if you can stand the software renderer.

I can run UT2004 on my notebook with integrated graphics, which should be about the same as your card. You can try downloading the free demo to see how it works. You will of course need to set almost everything to low.
