Hidy Guys. I know this isn't much of a notebook question but at the same time it is. I've been looking for something to pass the time and I'm considering The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind (NOT OBLIVION). Well I have it for Xbox and I was wondering if it's any better on the PC?

I've seen some screenshots of the PC version and the graphics look incredible. I've also seen some great looking mods (Especially the Helms Deep Mod :))

My Question: Which is better -Xbox or PC version?
    --Here are my system specs--
(can my notebook even run it? (At Top Graphics))
    -Celeron M 1.60MHz
    -1406 RAM
-128(shared) ATI Radeon Xpress 200M (yak)
**Since I already have it for Xbox I wouldn't even consider buying again if I couldn't run it at top graphics and maybe if there are any mods that up the graphics and I could run them without lag**

    --Thanks in advance.
    -Taylor

PC is much better. The mods are just awesome. If you dont like the graphics, download any of the many texture replacers and it can look as good as a lot of newer games. Getting bored with the game, download some more quests.

i doubt you can run it even when detals are at its lowest .

so in your case Xbox is way better

if you have a high end system the pc version is beter otherways its xbox all the way

    Please asenna,

I play that game on my 915GM at 1024*768 with medium settings and good fps. His X200M and much better configuration should play it on max settings without a problem.

Like Twilight said: go for the PC. I bought it yesterday for just 5 euro's and that includes Bloodmoon and Tribunal!

    Charlie :)

My Question: Which is better -Xbox or PC version?

Good question odin5578. I have an, Xbox, 360 and a high end notebook. Ever since I got my notebook, I never play the Xbox or the 360. I love the 360, it's just that all the games for it suck ass. Hopefully in the future the games will get better. Also, with the PC, you have a lot of keys and a mouse to contend with. Some people prefer this, others don't(when it comes to gaming). The 360 can look amazing on a really good TV. But, I hear the PS3 is going to rock everything. Its a friggin computer. It uses freakin processing chips from our guidence rocket systems in the military, and has 30-60Gigs. Its uber fast and uber powerful. Strong engines in that thing, but don't buy it for like 1-2 years. Just like the 360, just you watch, all the games are going to suck ass as well! But eventually that thing will dominate. I love PC, but PS3 will rock!

Thanks guys :) I am about to go and buy it now. Asenna... I only wish I could run Oblivion lol believe me I TRIED! I had a friend bring it over one day and I installed it and on the lowest graphics and with oldblivion my notebook was actually screaming! I thank you all for your input.

Usually when you post in a forum it takes a few days to get a reply so that's why I always come to you guys, someone's always willing to answer :).

360 vs PS3. I havn't heard much out of the PS3 but lets not forget the Wii it looks AMAZING! We can all admit that Nintendo once ruled the market I hope those days would come back and stop THE MONOPOLIZING BEHEMOTH THAT IS MICROSOFT! .... but you know after Halo 3 comes out and stuff :).

Hey guys I got one more Q. Does anyone know a site or forum where I can go and talk Morrowind with others who play it? I'm looking for modders.

I would also like a site where I can download mods for it but when I google it I get mostly Oblivion sites. I want a mod that will redo all the graphics. Like the overhaul mod for oblivion... but why would oblivion need an update on graphics? I have no idea. lol. Thanks in advance. Is the Morrowind modding community still relativly large? I mean after Oblivion came out did the modders stop playing Morrowind? Cause that'd make me really sad.

Plannet Elder Scrolls also has a huge supply of mods. I think thats where I got my texture replacer mod from.
