TF2 heavy update = lots of crashing?

im just wondering how many other people have had constant crashes since the new heavy update and if anyone can offer up a suggestion on how to fix it, im going to run a virus check and a defragger tonight to see if that helps.

So far, the only solution to solve the crashing that ive found is ->here<-

DON'T DELETE THE FILE like the link says, just move it to your desktop temporarily instead, then if they release a fix for this problem you can move it back to where it was and regain all of your records.

im just curious as to how wide spread this actually is

 

Been playing for 5 hours strait, I just got off the game, and nope, no issues at all.. I did hear mabe 2-3 people complaining of this though, mabe that was you? were you in the nbr server?

 

Have had no issues nor heard any complaints aside from this one.

well i got the game working fine, but i hate missing all of my old records (the main ones are still there, its just the ones like "you healed this much as engi" or "you stole this much health as spy." I lost all of those ones )

 

Nope, no crashing to desktop.
It still makes my CPU overheat, but not crash.

 

I haven't had any crashing issues with TF2 since the update.

Well I did experience one crash while doing a heavy taunt on dustbowl.

Something about the memory not being written.
