    Uhm thats it :) .

Question: why would you buy this card? It's only slightly faster than the 7900GTX, or am i wrong?

It's not so much a matter of 7900GTX owners upgrading to the 7950GTX as there simply being a more powerful option added to the top of the mobile 3D GPU list for new buyers.

    First, that news is outdated...
Second, no one would upgrade from 7900GTX to 7950GTX, the second is just a refreshed version for new buyers as was mentioned...

Outdated? The Go 7950GTX is out since yesterday (12 October) Aren't you confused with the desktop 7950GTX?

For everyone not aware, the 7950GTX is the same thing as the 7900GTX, with higher clock speeds. I believe they are 570/700 or something like that. So if you already have a 7900GTX, just OC it and you have no need for the new card.

In fact, there have been talks of possibly flashing the 7900GTX with the 7950GTX BIOS. It's pretty pointless, but it would turn your card into the 7950.

Basically, the hardware is the same

The problem is that my 7900GTX (ONLY 256MB) get's artifacts when i put the core above 550mhz. The 7950GTX isn't allowed to do that!
