    Sega got Relic (DoW, CoH)
Koch Media (Dead Island) got Volition (Saint's Row) and the rights to publish Metro
    Crytek got Homefront 2
Ubisoft got South Park and THQ Montreal (???)
T2 got WWE and a new IP called Evolve
No one bid for Vigil (Darksiders)

THQ auction results: Sega buys Relic, Ubi gets THQ Montreal, Koch lands Volition, and more | VentureBeat
Report: THQ's WWE license going to Take-Two | Joystiq

Zenimax was outbid by Sega by $300k, and I would've bought CoH 2 from them since I'm no fan of Sega. The interesting bit will be if Ubisoft gets to keep South Park since South Park Studios are trying to get the publishing rights back. Also felt sorry for Vigil... I haven't played Darksiders, but hopefully someone buys them eventually.

Up in limbo are the rights to some things like Homeworld, SupCom + FA, and Titan Quest.

I am so fricken happy that Sega outbid Zenimax. Zenimax = 2nd worst publisher and 2nd worst collection of developers. Bethesda is the absolute, undisputed king of liars of bugs and just overall poor quality games at AAA prices.

I am so very very very happy Sega outbid those dirtbags. Love it love it love it. I personally think Sega are great when it comes to PC. I am very satisified that they will be publishing COH2, just like Total War, Sega will make sure that is a real PC game unlike Bethesda/Zenimax who shamelessly juggle Xbox balls in their mouths. And I think Sega will also make sure future Warhammer titles will remain epic on PC. It was such a huge relief when Sega bought them and not some scum like Zenimax or Ubisoft. I'm a huge fan of Relic games.

RIP Vigil. I loved Darksiders and Darksiders 2. Both I whole heartedly recommend buying. Great great games.

By god. It would be so epic eyes would bleed. Only problem I foresee is the system requirements lol.

I really hope Sega starts development of a sequel to Space Marine, that damn cliffhanger at the end deserves to continue.
To me Sega is okay, they might not have the best PC ports of console games but they do approve of Steamworks as DRM compared to GFWL (Dead?) or even UPlay.
UPlay as a platform is terrible atm with no real support of installing the game from the client itself.

Im more worried about Deep Silver buying out Saints Row and Metro but i will at least give them a chance.

I've had serious issues getting Sega ports (Binary Domain and some crappy Sonic game I got for free in a bundle) to run on Optimus. I never got them working on my old 650m, because no matter what they wouldn't recognize the 680m so the games would only run of the igpu. Haven't tried them on the M17x (because they both kinda suck lol) but they would probably only work if I switched off Optimus.

The company that published Dead Island bought the Metro publishing rights, and possibly the IP.

It was by far the best value ever on any Steam sale.
    Darksiders
    Darksiders 2
Red Faction: Armageddon, 2, Red Faction
    Company of Heroes + Expansions
Warhammer 40K Dawn of War 2 + Expansions
    Homefront
    Titan Quest + Expansion
    Supreme Commander + Expansion
    Saints Row 3

All for $25. By far the most epic bundle ever. All those games are awesome.

I was on the fence about getting all the separate franchise packs. I missed the one I wanted the most, Dawn of War 1, 2, all expansions to both, and all DLC for both for $9.99.

Amazon has a THQ mega pack on sale for 25$:
Amazon.com: THQ Mega Pack [Download]: Video Games

Very good value for what you get if you ask me.

And on another note, somebody competent please buy Vigil. Fans are still expecting at least two more Darksiders releases!

I was so happy to hear that Sega bought Relic.

And like many others, my mind quickly jump to Warhammer 40k: Total War.

Hopefully Sega buys Homeworld when it goes up for bidding, just to complete the dream package.

Total War: War Hammer 40k would be almost to epic for words. Think of the battles. hundreds of beautifully rendered space marines, thousands or terrifying and ugly orcs, massive siege equipment, and the biggest maps ever made in a total war game...

Great deal. If any of you don't have multiple of these games, then go for it. I think Darksiders 2 alone is worth $25. I think the Warhammer 40K 2 are worth $25 alone. Warhammer Space Marine is $25 worth of fun. This is a great package.

Seeing as Rome 2 Total war is coming out this year, this news is coming right around the time they will start looking at what them they should use for the next game... We will probably find out what it is around 2015.

OMG, that is amazing news. Bringing some great game developers to a new studio with access to the best game technology in the world and the very best, unrivaled game artists in the world? Sounds good to me, Vigil employees must be having a party now.

Probably didn't want to buy then fire most of them if all they needed was 35 of the core team. Hopefully they treat their future hires better if there's any truth to the drama.

Wow, after reading about Vigil, I am not surprised CryTek decided to not buy the company and just hire the developers they wanted. Buying that company and all the managers and drama, not a smart move.

I'm resurrecting this one since there are some new news: Going once, going twice! Gearbox picks up Homeworld in THQ auction | Ars Technica

Homeworld has been acquired by Gearbox, not sure how I feel about that one regarding them possibly making Homeworld 3, but they did mention bringing the first two games to current PCs so that at least is good news. So far, I haven't come across a RTS like Homeworld, nothing that made an extensive use of the z-axis like the first game did anyways.

There's also an update mentioning that someone picked up Darksiders, no new of whether there will be a Darksiders III (I wouldn't get my hopes up), but who knows.

Darksiders, Red Faction, MX vs ATV, Full Spectrum Warrior, Juiced, de Blob, Destroy All Humans! and Titan Quest went to Nordic Games for 4,9 million dollars.
Drawn to Life went to 505 Games for 300000 dollars.
