Hi all, I recently bought a Sony TZ150N/B. Upgraded the ram, etc etc. I have it hooked up to my InFocus IN72 via a VGA->M1DA cable and it works perfectly. I also bought a VGA to S-Video/Composite cable. And all I get is flickering black and white lines. Now I hear that the card is capable of outputting to a TV, but I can't get it to recognize it as a TV. It just keeps telling me I'm connected to a Generic Non-PnP Monitor. I want to force it to set the refresh rate at 50Hz, or at least force it into TV mode. Can anyone help? I'd really appreciate it as not every TV I'd like to hook it up to has a DVI input or compatible component input.

    My specs are as follows,
    Sony TZ150N/B
    1.06 C2D
    2 GB Ram
    100 Gb HD
    Vista Business
    Intel GMA950

Bump. Anyone? Can I force a refresh rate of 50 Hz in Vista with the GMA 950? Seems to be possible on laptops with an S-Video out...

I have been thinking about the same thing. Just found some real cheapo d-sub to s-video converters on eBay.
I want to see if I can get my Acer Aspire One to run on the TV.
Lemme know if you had any luck
