    Team Fortress crashes on startup, help!!

    hi.

    i have a dell xps m1530 and hl2.exe crashes every **** time i start it. it prepares to load, then hl2.exe shows in the task manager for a few seconds, then i get the error. i've tried a lot of stuff including updating my video driver, and adding different launch options. avg is turned off.

    i have vista 32bit ultimate, 4gb ram, and the 8600 graphics card.
