Finally , Tekken 7 has reached the PC. Bandai Namco did a great job in "porting" the game from it's native Tekken engine to Unreal 4 . The moves are fluid, dynamic and feels exactly like the gameplay from their native engine.

The Netcode is excellent , no connection drops and occasional input lag. Gigabyte's Aero 14 was able to set a locked 60fps on Ultra @ 1440p , which is impressive for a 1060.

Dynamic scaling of textures, shadows , post processing ensures a 60fps lock all the time , which is essential for a fighting game . The console versions suffer from lack of UR4's bokeh , the PS4 and the pro has minimal bloom . Xbox one is the worst of all , running at 720p , no AO, no bloom and no bokeh.

    You left vsync on?

Oh you made a 60 fps lock. I know its ideal for the gameplay but doesnt really qualify as an FPS test

I get your point , but the game is capped to 60fps now regardless of the vsync state . Hoping for a patch that caps it at 120

Also , some cards have been reported to cause fps drops as low as 25 in some badly optimised levels and when fighting with Kuma. Nvidia claimed their drivers deliver a rock steady 60 fps on any 1060 , so I guess Namco has to come with a bugfix

The original Tekken and 2 ad slogan was "that burn is from your broken ribs, not some fireball".
Now there's Akuma from Street fighter hurling fireballs around FFS.

Im ok with that, Akuma is basically the only character I liked out of Street Fighter anyways.

Plus its not like Tekken characters are void of their own projectiles.

Same I just like the play styles separate. The only projectiles tekken 1-3 had were devil / ogre. They don't count mate :p
All good anyway. I don't play the new stuff.

Oh yeah for sure, SF is definitely more projectile heavy but I was never a fan except for SF third strike.

Otherwise I really enjoyed Tekken Tag 2 and got my butt royally handed to me at the tournament in anaheim around that time.

Not sure how I let my friend convince me to go with him lol

Hey is Dragunov still in Tekken? He became my main in TTT2 and would be pretty sad if he's been removed from the roster. My friend back in the states picked up the game and Im looking forward to getting drunk and getting my *** handed to me til I blow chunks

What's a good profile to get sli working ? I hear people have done it with good scaling. Don't want to wait for nvidia to release a profile 6 months later when the game is no longer relevant lol
