Hello,
I was wondering which of these two programs gives the correct temp reading for the GPU. I am getting a 10 degree difference between GPU-Z and NV monitor. GPU is giving me the lower reading on my x305-q701.
Thanks in advance,
Scott

Try HWMonitor and see what you get with that.

hey scott
The lower temp u see is basically a direct sensor reading from the gpu... the higher temp is a more accurate temp of the 'gpu core' which is attained by adding a value determined by the gpu maker... in fact the software showing u the lower temp will most likely say only 'gpu' whereas the one with a higher temp will say 'gpu core'. -
I've used multiple programs that state gpu core temp.
They still aren't accurate. I'll never understand why 2 similar programs using the exact same sensor can't get the correct temperature.
It's like every temp program designer has their own take on how to measure a thermometer. You would think it's as straightforward as "sensor says 50C", "temp is 50C".
Very odd and very irratating.
