    Ten-year-old MMORPG

    This has been driving me nuts. When I was a kid I played this 2-D online RPG, and the only thing I can remember for sure is that there were these recall rings, that when you put them on it would mark the spot for recall and when you removed them you would return to that spot, destroying the ring. The only other thing that I can clearly remember is trying to drag a salamander skin, one square at a time, out of a dungeon so I could make an NPC blacksmith turn it into armor.

    Does that ring any bells with anyone? I can't, for the life of me, remember what it was called.

    Also, does anyone else have fond memories of other ancient online games. I lived and died for The Realm.
