Ahh what a dissapointment, although I really wasn't expecting much... Too bad soo sad... It was rushed the mechanics were there, and they created a sound engine... it seems they either ran out of time so opted for a crap story and shor gameplay experience (4 hours!) or simply created the bare minimum for what they had and moved on to new projects

From what I've been reading, doesn't sound like the movie is anything special either... Annoying.

It's not that unexpected, games rushed out to meet a movie release date are usually crappy.
Come to think of it, I can't think of many games made from movies that were that great, but there are plenty of poor movies made from good games that come to mind hehe.

Haven't game developers learned by now? games + movie = fail, except for a few like X-Men Origins Wolverine, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, and Wanted Weapons Of Fate(in my opinion)

Why do developers even waste resources to make such crappy movie games that no one will buy?

I seriously had slight hopes for this game when I saw the trailers for it, guess I was wrong.

I also heard that the system requirements for it were very high, that it was a very unoptimized port from the console to PC. I'd like console games to come to the PC, but please give some effort to them, maybe let another studio take care of the port.

You are correct. But it hasn't been made into a movie yet. ;)
