    love the first one, would be great if they can add damges in the 2nd one like Grid.

    Yeah I really liked the first one. Hope they'll come up with the sequel soon. Some new cars, changable weather and car damage would make one hell of a game!

    Can't wait for some new info. There's been total silence about this game for quite a long time!

    Considering that the same source who said TDU2 is actually in works also said it'll be released in March 2008. We're in the middle of August 2008 and there has been absolutely no info about it. As far as I remember there were no confirmation from Atari or anything and this could all be some guy's wet dream.
    But hopefully I'm wrong 'couse I'd really like to play it!

    Test Drive Unlimited 2 is the upcoming sequel to Test Drive Unlimited and the 10th game of the Test Drive series. Its development was confirmed on N4G.com in February of 2008. No details of the game have yet been confirmed.

    On 2 December 2008, Atari stated in a press conference that the Test Drive Unlimited series (among others) would be revisited after 2009.


    The website www.testdriveunlimited2.com has been registered by Atari, but currently it will have a Forbidden error message when attempting to access it.

    Developer Eden Games has confirmed in a video interview with French website UGame.tv that Test Drive Unlimited 2 is indeed in development. The first game was developed by Eden Games as well and was released in september 2006 on Xbox 360 and PC. Playstation 2 and PSP versions were released a short time later. Now development on the sequel has been confirmed by Eden Games president David Nadal. No specific details on the game where mentioned, nor where platforms.
