    how would you test the frame per second count you are getting while playing counterstrike source in linux? is there even a such program?

    I think you can type cl_showfps 1 into the console to show the fps in css. Somewhere in the options there's a way to enable the console, then press the ~ button to bring it up.

    edit: go to options > keyboard > advanced, check the enable console box.

    thanks, i think im guna stick to windows for gaming though, it got kinda laggy there when i was shootin at an enemy and they were shooting and stuff like that
