I am thinking of changing GPU drivers..I would like to run a "score" before and after...whats the difference between furmark, 3dmark06, and benchmarking? I dont know the slightest about this stuff but am hoping someone can lead me in the right direction regarding for a harmless program to test my GPU score. Also whats a low/normal/high score for these cards. Thanks

You cant really base it off of a 3dmark06 or Vantage score.. The frame rate in games is what matters, the faster the frame rate the better.. Just bench some games with diffrent drivers and see how that goes..

I have the same laptop as you, but in your sig it says 2.3 GHz. I read everywhere that you can't overclock the CPU.

Any ways, on topic the average score for our laptop is going to be like 9500, maybe more or a little less, but around here.
