    I havent seen a topic about it so i started this one

    THIS IS ABOUT THE DEMO NOT THE BENCHMARK!!!

    anyways....here is a link to the jap version (fully English in-game text so don't worry)

    you can get it from the official US site but you need to go through many steps to download it..... boring!!

    OK so i tried it....i can say that it runs MUCH MUCH better than the xbox360 version (i think im gonna sell my x360 version cause i never played it that much)

    I get steady 60fps all high at 1280*800

    (OCed to GTS clocks)

    Veeery smooth compaired to xbox360 version...

    yeah every one already knows, i got it played it for 10mins and uninstalled it - the battle system is very poor and ruins the potential fun the game could have been

    Like armageddon said. The battle system is horrendous and kils the entire experience, which i think sucked as is.

    i liked the environments and the monsters are good but the battel system is very pointless - you have no control on what happens

    It made my card crawl for no visual benefits at all. I also hated the battle system...

    come on howard, stop having pity over this game...the enviroments were bland and there were like 3 trees.

    I have been playing the demo for a week now.

    its got its ups and downs.

    the best thing so far I like about the game is the great soundtrack. :)

    The sound is beautiful but anything from square is that way............

    its a interesting attempt on a single player MMO-ish RPG... but many downsides... the main one being the Westernization of the art and characters.

    I rather liked the old school Final Fantasy / Breath of Fire / Dragon Warrior / etc... feel. (in terms of art, costume, character design)

    my advice...stick with ff7 its like 1000Xtimes better

    last remnant is bad

    its really sad cause its coming from square-enix!

    for people with x360 u can get star ocean....its really good rpg..
