Allied Assault, ah the memories. I was so naive in those days i didnt even know riddling a corpse with bullets should produce a shower of blood.

I don't see any info on new MOH. Maybe they wanna strike IW real hard. They are waiting for the metal to get red hot and then...smashhhhhhhh by a hammer.

Medal of Honor: Airborne kinda flopped. If EA wants the series to have a chance against Call of Duty, they'd better really think hard about their next move with the series.

I think most want to play modern wars rather than world war or 2142 wars..
MOH AA was my best fps game... I really liked it and played a lot.

I'll be honest, I like MoH: Airborne's single player more than CoD3 and CoD4. I really like the methodical tactical take on combat. Tighten up the controls and the on screen weapon placement, and I'd probably like it more than CoD1 and CoD2 as well. It's just a really interesting game, gameplay wise. I found it utterly intriguing and engaging.

I like the bomb explosion in Airborne. It was totally different.

What I hated about MoH:airborne was how grossly overpowering the Springfield was in Singleplayer. After it was upgraded, I was tearing through Stormtroopers like a weed whacker.

    It turned you into Superman....

I think the Shoot and Scoot of CoD is more accurate.

This is EA we're talking about, the great milker of franchises (Madden *cough*) but there's hope. My exposure to the WWII FPS started with Medal of Honor so I'd like to see something big sometime soon.

Another series i want to see come back strong is Brothers in Arms. That was an EXCELLENT series. Probably the most tactical FPS ever.

+2. I sadly have not played any of them yet IMO they were amazing for the story and tactical gameplay.

You should pick it up man. You can get a good deal on it and it really immerses you in the experience especially when your people start dying left and right.

To be fair I expected this thread to end with a paragraph on mW2 full of lies. Happy it wasn't what I expected.

As for EA being the milker. With the next Call of Duty slated for 2010, I really think Activision deserves the title.

Ya, the springfield became even more overpowering in expert.

On normal, I just used the MP4 all day.

I couldn't ever get the darn parachute medals though.

IW has a success rate similar to Blizzard now. I'd at least give them the benefit of doubt.
