I've been playing Mass Effect, Splinter Cell (Double Agent), and Assassin's Creed. The latter runs pretty well on my 3450 if everything is set up properly.

    Purchased list:
    1. BioShock - which became my fave single player game. The story and graphics are absolutely amazing.
    2. Team Fortress 2 - which is my most played and favorite multiplayer online game. Haven't played in a while, though.
    3. Unreal Tournament 3 - I bought it a week ago but haven't got the time for some serious gaming.
    Played list:
It's actually in the exact same order as my purchased list ^^.

Crysis: I like it a lot more than warhead. Lot's of action, large levels, it's fun, and it's gorgeous. Runs pretty well on the new rig

Far Cry 2: $15 on steam. Only played for a bit so far, I can tell you it's pretty but it also feels slow, and I've already noticed some problems with the AI, like respawns and unusually high health.

COD5 (WaW): Still playing it since release (over 19k kills now), and it's smooth as butter on the new rig. Loving the new free maps!

And THAT's Valve's problem. You've got to wait 1.5 - 2 years for a game you are going to go through for a couple of hours.

I don't see that as a problem, seeing as Valve hasn't made a bad game, or even a mediocre game, as of yet.

Fear 2, Dead Space and Resident Evil 5(PS3) :). All are awesome and did not regret abit for purchasing them at full price. Looking forward to the PC version of RE5.

Yes, but they have time to make an even better game. Look at Sam & Max for example (bad example I know, it's just the first game with "episodes" that comes to my mind) - a new episode is released for a little over 2-3 months and they finish a season (6 episodes) in an year. I mean I already forgot what happened in the last episode of Half-Life - it was almost 2 years ago.

Yes but I would much rather they take their time and make the game really well, rather than rushing it out the door to make money.

Meanwhile, in other news, EA executives were treated for a sudden outbreak of severe illness. All exhibited the same symptoms. The doctor first diagnosed the group as having contracted swine flu. But upon further analysis it was discovered the execs had read the above quote which totally goes against their company's modus operandi.

    :p
