I played a few hours of The Long Dark on my brother's PC this summer and it was pretty excellent, although there was plenty of room for improvement (it's an Early Access indie game, after all). I haven't bought a copy myself because I'm a cheapskate and pretty much wait for anything to drop to 75% off or below, but I keep thinking about going for it anyway because it's a really cool gaming experience.

Anyone else have this on their radar? Are there any other games out there that do a good job of wo/man versus the elements survival like this one?
