    The Orange Box Won't install

    I bought the retail product this morning and simply put the Orange Box's contents are refusing to install. If I opt to install them all at once it stalls, but does not crash (this is after leaving it for four hours). I try installing them individually i hit the same problem.

    I have a previous copy of Half life 2 that will install in no time. I have tried reinstalling steam. I refuse to download the Orange Box because of my internet data cap.

    Any ideas?

    worked fine for me on 32bit vista even though it does take hours as its over 8gb
