The Post One Screen Of Your Games Thread

any one with a laptop come here and post some screens of your games, say what the specs of your machine are as well as the general settings that you are using. I would go first but i dont have my laptop though i have decided what to get, i just need to pull all the money together to buy it.

........First screen of "Mind Forever Voyaging" text adventure. I was playing it on my desktop: AMD X2 @ 2.8GHZ, 4GB ram, 8800GT @ 700core, 1000mem, XP pro, dual SGI monitors.

1024 x 768, since I cant select any other resolution, and If I force wide screen image gets squashed. Everything max, no AA, specs in sig

I also think it would be a good idea if users could state weather the screens were taken with the gpu overclocked or not and if they are willing to go the extra length; mention the drivers they are using. I say this because when some users claim they are running X on max settings without mentioning that they have overclocked the card, other users when they try game X on max settings will worry that their system is under performing. Same applies to drivers.

So the above screenshots were without any overclocking and drivers used I cant remember.

Had stalker before, un-installed as the shooting mechanics were horrible...it would take ages for the people to die as bullets never hit or the hits were not registered, never the less it ran perfect all high but on static lighting.

If you created this thread with another intention of seeing how your system would perform...then don't worry it will run currently run anything you throw at it. Personally I think its a bit overkill, how much is it costing you?

no i made so people would post pics of their games, i just wanted to see some those ^^ HL2 looks cool im going to get The Orange box, just hope its not as buggy as the PS3 version, stuttering, slowdowns you name it the game had it.

 

Yes I had them larger originally but I had to compress the images to reduce the file size for posting. If you click on the pictures they will open up in another window and show a larger version of the jpg. This game is a very dark game I never really thought about it but most of the game is in dark or night settings. LOL

 

Yea, I did click on them...they are still small.

I suggest for future posts you host your pics on a website like imageshack and post the forum thumbnail link generated here, put links side by side so they appear as if you had attached them instead of clogging up the whole page.

Thats what I didnt like about FEAR, the environments were always the same

System Specs: In signature

Settings: All max, 2x AA, 2x AF

Here's a few shots I quickly took from the beginning of Half Life 2: Episode 1. I'm using a mod called the cinematic mod which provides higher quality textures and models. Quality isn't as good as it should be because of jpeg compression but oh well.

Great game. Got really addicted to it, lots of action, looks great, too bad the SP only lasts about 10 hours.
The MP isn't as good as the SP, and there aren't too many players/

This was on my HP Pavilion notebook, core duo 2.0GHz with a Nvidia Geforce Go 7600 256MB dedicated card. All settings on high @1024x768.

It's not really worth being stickied... It has to be significant to this forum... and this really isn't. It's a cool thread though.

Yes, because there were a huge flow of threads whether their computer could play that game or not. There's really not a whole lot of post pictures threads.
