I just played the demo of The Suffering 2. I really enjoyed the first one and this seems just as cool. It's worth checking out if you're looking for a new shooter.

Cool! If you want a little background on the Suffering games, you can pick up the first one for between $15 - $25 bucks. I especially like how you can switch between 1st and 3rd person viewpoints. I can't stand 3rd person games. The first Suffering was one of the creepiest games I've ever played. These would be great to play on Halloween night with the lights turned off. :D

Truthfully, I wasnt blown away by the demo...it obviously has potential and some cool moments but IMO was not as immersive as a Doom3 for ex. The engine seems dated as well, not too suprising considering its by Midway.
Overall its ok with some cool moments, such as the transformations.
    Your thoughts?

True, the graphics aren't close to Doom 3, HL2 or FEAR. I really like the storyline, which isn't too clear from the demo. You definitely have to be familiar with the story from, and be a fan of, the first Suffering in order to get into part 2.
