    The Witcher 2 Throttle?

    Not entirely sure if its thermal throttling but my gtx 460m seems to have throttling issues with TW2 when outside in town areas (happens in the field sometimes) where the fps will go from 45 average to a low 15-20fps and spikes around those two. These are the speeds and settings I play at..

    core - 810
    shader - 1600
    memory - 1550

    settings @ 720p
    medium-high settings
    averaging (well without throttle) around 40-50fps

    The gpu temps reached a max (according to MSI and HWMonitor) after a couple hours at 89c

    TW2 is patched to the latest if thats any relevant.

    I suspect its the gpu, though idk if TW2 is dependant on cpu more than gpu. I heard sandybridge series likes to drop to 780mhz frequently during gaming
