    The Witcher Demo Problem

    I have downloaded the demo on my desktop which runs XP and it works great. But after I download the demo for my desktop (Vista), and double click on the shortcut or file in the "game" folder it gives me this error:

    Had this error message in Vista, solved it by downloading the latest DirectX 9.0 libraries from Microsoft's website. Give it a go and see if that helps.

    Short on time I'm afraid, just google Microsoft DirectX download and look at the first four or so links. That's how I did it.
